Creative Writing
My Creative Writing class is taught by Amy Noye, who is also my English teacher. We try many different styles of writing, such as sonnets, haikus, narratives, novels, and screenplays.
Sonnet
Novel
When I first started my novel, I had the beginning of the story, and the very end. I couldn't think of a single thing that could go in between. So, thinking back to when I was young and obsessed over "Spy Kids", and that really made me think about what they would do if they had grown up and taken on this situation. So, putting my pen to the paper, I began to work on it. At first, the story flowed well, but then it dawned on me that the events were happening way too fast, and the story was not practical. I knew nothing about living in Antarctica, Iceland, or anything, really. I hate to say it, but the whole story is inaccurate. Aside from that, I worked hard on it.
Solo Poem
I only have one thing to say about the poem: I love it.
Play Script
There are times where I wish that I could have been around when the Twilight Zone was still on TV. And while writing this screenplay is a prime example of one of those times. It seems like something that would have been used as one of their shows. In several episodes, there are situations where people find themselves on a planet of giants. Without blowing the ending, this fits perfectly into the category.
